Blaze Fire Protection offers an in depth and detailed Fire Risk Assessment in line with The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations, 1999 (as amended 2006), and in accordance with BAFE SP205 part 1 Life Safety Fire Risk Assessment.
The purpose of this assessment is to identify areas of risk, understand how to neutralize these risks and place them in order of priority. The Regulation categorise these areas into the following:
A ‘Responsible Person’ is identified and as such will be responsible for ensuring this assessment is regularly maintained, especially if the premises is affected by severe alterations. They must instigate regular fire drills, equipment checks and make sure that there is an up to date evacuation plan in place.
Blaze Fire Protection will attend your premises for one day, (dependent on size of the building), and the Validator will firstly request to see the appropriate documentations such as PAT Testing Certificates, 5-year wiring Certificates, Staff Fire Safety Training Certificates and fire equipment service certificates. A full list is available prior to the meeting.
The Assessment has been designed to answer all the questions that Legislation asks, but in an easy to use format with final bullet points identified, in order of priority. The report is presented in an electronic format.
Our Validator is available for free consultation during this whole process.
